Refusing to let his injury stop him, Captain David Rozelle roared back into action,
returning to Iraq as commander of an armored cavalry troop. He became the first amputee

Captain David Rozelle has served in the U.S. Army for over ten years since his commission from Davidson College ROTC. He is the recipient of the Bronze Star with Valor and the Purple Heart. He has been a guest on the CBS Evening News with Dan Rather, the Today Show, and Dayside with Linda Vester. He holds a degree in English literature. He lives in Fort Carson, Colorado, with his wife, Kim, and their son, Forrest.

Patrick Lawlor, an AudioFile Earphones Award winner and Audie Award finalist, is also an accomplished stage actor, director, and combat choreographer who has worked in America and Europe. He has been an actor and stuntman in both TV and film. He lives in Milwaukee.
