The difference between American and British English
pronunciation can be very large, depending on the area in the
U.S.A. the American English speaker originates. This is most
clearly apparent, when you watch the two prominent TV News
channels for the two countries: The anchor man for the BBC News
channel speaks very differently as compared to the achor people
you seen on CNN.
The people on the East coast of the United States, especiall
in the North East, speak and pronounce the English language
much more like the British, whilst people in the Soutwest of
the USA, i.e. in Texas, speak a totally different English and
have a very different accent.
